A complete guide for globally mobile families feeling overwhelmed by the constant search for the best school for their child. This guidebook is a compilation of decades of my experience working with education sectors, schools, parents and children across 50 countries. I know exactly what parents like you are looking for and I know how to help you get what you want and how to align families to have common goals.

If your lifestyle means that you’re frequently having to choose a new school for your child. If you worry about how to make that choice. If you and your parenting partner aren’t aligned in what you want for your child’s education. If the pressure of “getting it right” weighs heavy and feels overwhelming... You're in the right place.

Many of you will have excellent academic backgrounds. You will have worked hard throughout. You will have a solid understanding of whichever education system you moved through as a child and young person. But given your new lifestyle the options available to your children are probably quite different. And even if the exact same system is available to them, it will have changed since we were at school.

Not only that, it turns out that according to the research, the system that a child works through is one of the least important factors in predicting their long term academic, wellbeing and health outcomes. Other factors in schools play far greater roles.

Work through the guidebook to gain the clarity, confidence and tools that you need to ensure that you choose the school that meets yours and your child’s needs regardless of their age or location.

You will do this by:

✅ Better understanding what we mean by different curricula e.g. “British”, “IB”, “AP”, “American”, etc.

✅ Exploring current global good practice in education in parent-friendly language so you understand what schools are talking about.

✅ Identifying EXACTLY what you want for your child and what you want from their school.

The guidebook will take you around 3 hours to work through. You should work through it with your parenting partner if you have one and if they are involved in school selection.

By the end of working through it you will have:

🎓 A series of questions to ask schools you are considering no matter the stage your child is in their eduction. From preschool through to college/university. The questions will be based on what you have identified as being top priorities for you.

🎓 A lengthy checklist that you can use as you tour schools to identify how much they are embodying the priorities that you have identified.

🎓 The confidence that you need to advocate for your own and your child's needs.

🎓 The confidence that you need to lead your child through another transition.
